Biography
Hossein Kouhestani was a resident of Mashhad who was killed during the Iranian protest movement. On January 8, 2026, he was targeted and killed by security forces using live ammunition. He is memorialized as a 'Javidnam' for his sacrifice in the struggle for human rights.
حسین کوهستانی از اهالی مشهد بود که در جریان جنبش اعتراضی ایران جان باخت. او در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ با شلیک مستقیم گلوله جنگی توسط ماموران جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد. نام او به عنوان یکی از جاویدنامان راه آزادی در تاریخ مستندات حقوق بشری ثبت شده است.
